Protoplasm is an AI animation that aims to keep memories of the women’s plights in China. In this artwork, AI is a mediator, and a translator that builds the barrier between linguistic information and visual sensories. News titles are used as prompts, to translate the realities in AI’s expressions.
Collaborated with the poet Qin jie and AI, I want to let images speak, show the hidden words, and translate the verbal description into a metaphoric expression.
This work will be saved on the blockchain, and can never be erased. At least 30% of the income will be donated to charities that help women.
